About Melissa I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Melissa Boyd and I have lived here in Greenville, South Carolina for 35 years. I am happily married to a wonderful guy and am stepmom to four amazing children and "mommy" to 4 little "furry children". Each of my stepchildren have married and two of them have had precious babies this year so I guess that makes me a "grandma". I also have two sisters, one lives in Texas, the other in Colorado and I am a proud aunt to 5 adorable nieces and nephews. I feel very blessed to have my family and am looking forward to it growing even bigger. I have not always been in Real Estate. My career path took me many places, each one has played a major part in my success as a REALTOR®. I worked in the administrative field for years. I supported many sales executives in my administrative duties. I was senior administrative assistant to the President of a Marketing and Advertising firm and the last position I held was Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Human Resources. Each of the duties had several things in common like the ability to work under pressure, very precise attention to details, ability to problem solve with positive results and customer service excellence, to name a few. It was that experience that I found so valuable when I decided to make the career move to become a Realtor. I have always thought of myself as a people person and find I am happiest when I have helped someone to achieve a goal. So, with the support of my family and friends, I took the Real Estate Course, passed, studied for my State final and passed. Now the rest is history. I started out with a small family owned business and then made the move to CENTURY 21 Bob Capes Realtors. The move was a positive one for my career. Within my first year with the company, I was awarded Top Listing Agent, Top Sales Agent and Top Producer, 2007. I am also on the A-Team for Relocation and work with Cartus, and other relocation companies to make your move a smooth transition. Hard work, perseverance, dedication and the trust of my clients enabled me to be one of CENTURY 21 Bob Capes Realtors Top Agents. Let me put my knowledge and expertise to work for you.
